Kids are wonderful and they bring an immeasurable amount of happiness and joy to our lives. That said there are times when it is a little difficult to remember this particular perspective! Additionally, between school, after school activities and playdates, it can be challenging to remember to make time for yourself. That’s why we believe there is no better remedy than an adults only weekend getaway! First, choose your destination.  Depending on whether you are craving the beach, the desert or somewhere in between. From there, decide where you would like to stay. Do you prefer a full service hotel, a spa or a cabin? Whatever your preferences may be, there is something absolutely indulgent about a quick trip where the sole purpose is to relax, unwind and have fun. Whether you spend it with your sweetie or with the girls, we believe in the power of a weekend away. We’ve put together a collection of some of our favorite west coast retreats for your travels. Ojai, California is nestled into a picturesque valley long known for its natural beauty and thriving health focused and spiritual communities. Originally opened in 1923, The Ojai Valley Inn and Spa is an absolute gem. As soon as you arrive you feel the quiet luxury lulling you into relaxation. Have a massage, walk the grounds or lay out by the pool because pampering yourself is a must!

Palm Springs always the right place for a quick fix of sun and fun. Sparrows Lodge is a modern, rustic retreat with roots as an old Hollywood resort. If you have never been to the Oregon Coast, you are missing out on something truly special. Picture miles of beautiful sandy beaches, massive rock formations jutting out of the water and giant purple and orange starfish. Situated in Santa Monica, California, Shutters is close to amazing shopping, museums and restaurants. Ride a bike along the beach under the California sunshine, experience the spa or enjoy one of their fabulous dining experiences. There is really no wrong choice to be made here!
